Pokemon X and Y episode 4:The starling contest

"Hmm... I guess Pokémon Trainers all battle each other, no matter who they are. Oh, yeah. I wanted to ask you something, Dia. How about you and I compete and see who ends up stronger? I know we set off on our journey just after you arrived in Vaniville, but we are neighbors, and having a competition with you sound like fun. I won't lose though. Just so you know." I nod immediately hearing Calem's request.

''Great! Well see you guys at the contest!'' Calem goes out of the cafe leaving me and Sarah alone.. *Insert romantic music*....... Okay now metal music *Insert metal music* Much better, anyway before we actually go to the contest I asked Sarah if I could take care of some business, she agrees and I head to route 5 where I catch a pokemon then head back. We head to the contest hall, where everything was... pink.. *Throws up* Sorry I mean I like my little pony but if I'm reminded of the third and 3.5's generation where pink is everywhere.. I'm out.

''Here we are.. so where's the counter lady?'' I ask looking at the scenery.

''Wait Diamond, before we enter maybe we should get costumes'' Sarah informs me.

''But there's no one to give us costume..'' ''Maybe I can help'' We turn our heads to see that women from the cafe.

''Oh you're the famous woman in the cafe Diantha right?'' Sarah ask, Diantha nods.

''Correct you are, I have some costumes you can borrow'' Diantha looks at us up and down checking our height and weight.

''Hmm... yeah i'm sure they will fit you'' ''Really thanks!'' ''This way'' She leads us to the dressing room.

''Diamond you can have this costume'' Diantha goes into her personal closet and gives me a costume. It was a sleeveless dress shirt that had a dark blue tie, and a sky blue belt wrapped around the dark blue pants. The cape had blue leather on the outside and sparkling blue in the inside, and lastly the top hat was dark blue and sky blue.

''And Sarah, you can have this'' Diantha also gives Sarah her costume. It was a long pink and black dress that ended at the feet part with pink gems all over the dress, and a black tiara with pink gems with pink and black high heels.  ''Thank you so much for this''

''No problem I'd like to see any of you win, and don't worry you can keep them see you around'' Diantha waves goodbye leaving us to put on the costumes, register and finally enter the contest. When we enter the stage there were crowds waiting, the theme was Lumiose city, the walls were painted with a night sky shining over buildings, and a model of the Prism Tower in at the end of the hall below the giant t.v screen. 

''Good morning ladies and gentleman! Today is the day Kalos meets Pokémon Contest Spectacular!'' The man holding a microphone yells looking at the video camera, as the crowd screams with excitement... oh there's Calem he's in the third row waving his hands in the air like he just don't care.

''Our judges is the maiden from a land with history Valerie!'' The host points at the girl in the kimono.

''I hope everyone will try they're best today''

''The number one Contest star in Hoenn Lisia!'' Then at my.. old friend from Hoenn (All you omega and Alpha peeps know who this gal is)

"Hiiiiii, ev-er-y-bo-dy! Lisia here! Me and my Altaria, Ali, have come to Kalos's most beautiful City's Contest Spectacular Hall for a bit of FUN!" Lisia' Altaria cherps happily.

''And our favorite actress and champion Diantha!''

''Hello everyone, i'm glad to see all these wonderful faces here today'' Diantha waves.

''It's nice to meet you two ladies, now it's time to meet our first-ever coordinators in Kalos to compete'' The screen shows each of the coordinators id card and their pokemon, then the host talks about us and with us then we answered some questions.

''And now it's time for our first competition called show your moves'' 

''In this competition each of these coordinators will show their best move to the judges, if they don't excite them or even give them a smile they're out! Now are you ready coordinators?'' We all replied with a yes, or a yeah, or nod.

''Then show your moves!'' The host presses a button making a doll that looks like a pokemon fall from the sky and in front of us. The first coordinator a girl sends out her pokemon and then shows  their strategy, but the judges weren't really excited for it.

''You're out of here!'' The host pulls a switch, causing a panel on the floor open and the girl and her pokemon fall down.

''Eeeeehhhhh!!!'' ''Next!'' The next coordinator this time was a guy, sadly the judges gave the same reaction.

''You're out of here!'' The host pulls the switch agan.
''Oh come on!!!'' ''Next!''

''Go Inferno!'' I send out Inferno with a fire seal, causing blazing fire to come out at the same time Inferno does.

''Fen!'' ''Inferno use flame charge then as you run use heat wave at that doll!'' 
Inferno does the same thing he did last night expect instead of a rock it was a doll, and it pleases the judges giving me 100 points for it.
''Perfect! You can go the next round!'' ''Woo.'' I said throwing my arms up with a bored look. ''Next!'' 

Sarah's turn and with her strategy with Leaf she also got the same score as me.

''Looks like we found our coordinators!'' ''Yes!'' ''Woo.''

And so we were going into the final round, but we first were give a five-minute break so we can figure out our pokemons moves and strateges. 
''Welcome back ladies and gentleman, are you ready for a pokemon showdown?''

''YEAH!!''
''Then let's get to it! Coordinators in this round you need to use two pokemon to  decrease the opponent's points ready?''

''Ready!'' 

''Then show. Your. Moves!!''

''Go Inferno and Po!'' I send out Inferno and my newest addition to my family Po, I send his pokeball with a fist seal on it, causing red and orange sparks come out with Po.

''Fennekin!'' ''Pancham!''

''A pancham? So that's you went by yourself, well I won't dissapoint you go 
Leaf and Ruby!''  Sarah sends her balls out with their seals on it. Out came Leafeon and a Espeon.

''Cool. You can go first.'' ''Alright then Leaf use razor leaf but don't shoot it yet!'' Leaf sends out razor leafs but leaves them floating in the air.

''Now Ruby use psybeam on those leafs and Leaf use quick attack on Po!'' Ruby shoots her beam on the leafs causing them to turn into magical leafs then Leaf runs after po causing the leafs spin around her making a pinkish glow.

''Wow the leafs just turned into magical leaves!'' Lisia smiles widely.
''That's a very smart and cute move eevee master!'' The women in the kimono said.
My health bar on the screen decreases, now I have 70 points left.
''The moonlight magician's points decreased by 30 points what will she do now?''

''This! Po use Storm Throw!'' After Leaf hits Po, he growls and throws Leaf up in the air with ease.

''Woah that little guy threw poor Leafeon in the air!'' 

''Inferno you know what to do!'' ''Fen!'' As Leaf falls back down, Inferno used the same tactic I used before having Leaf crash into Ruby.

''Oh she used her old strategy from before'' ''But that coordinate tho' so cool!'' Sarah's health bar decreases the same way mines did.

''And now the eveevolution master is tied with the magician so exciting!'' 

''Wow, I didn't expect that! That won't stop me though Leaf use Grass Whistle! Then Ruby use swift!'' They both use their moves at the same time sadly causing Po to fall asleep and both get knocked down by the shooting stars.

''Pan..'' ''Fen! Fennekin!'' ''Oh dear poor Pancham went to sleep''

''Tch! Inferno distract those two while I try to wake Po up use flame charge then scratch!''
Inferno tries her best to distract them, but is sadly getting weaker barley hitting them.

''Po get up please!'' Po won't budge at all, snoring loudly.

''The magician is starting to lose her magic, I guess the master is also the master of magic''
Inferno looks at my sad expression as I look at Po who is still sleeping.
''Grrrr...'' Inferno growls at Leaf and Ruby when all of a sudden he glows white.

''Woah!'' ''Huh?'' ''What's this the magician's Fennekin is evolving?!'' Inferno grows bigger and turns into..

''Braixen!'' ''Wow it evolved into a handsome Braixen!''

My newly evolved Braixen does the same thing he was told to do, expect now he was way stronger than before.
''Guys are you ok?'' Sarah asks her pokemon they nod struggling to get up.
''Pan..?'' Luckily Po wakes up just in time. ''Wow that was a lot quicker than I expected'' 

''Hmph! No more playing around it's time to show my best strategy! Leaf use Leaf Blade on Ruby then throw her up in the air, then use sunny day!'' They follow her as Ruby is in the air as the blazing fake sun shines over Ruby.

''Now Ruby use psybeam then quick attack!'' Ruby shoots her beam at my pokemon and then quick attacks about to crush into them.

''Bring it! Po use storm throw on Inferno then Inferno use psybeam then flame charge!'' My pokemon basically did the same thing as Sarah's pokemon did expect the beams mashed up into a physic explosion and then Inferno and Ruby crashed into each other creating a another explosion. The whole room was silent as everyone was waiting to see who survived.

''That was epic still one of both coordinator's pokemon are still standing but wait!''

Everyone looked at the screen to see both of our health was gone.

''It appears that both coordinator's points are zero?!'' People were shocked and utter confused untill Diantha started clapping.

''Then let us congratulate both Diamond and Sarah winning our first-ever contest in Kalos!'' Everyone started to cheer and scream for joy as confetti was everywhere. We returned our pokemon, then after we shook hands and said ''Congratulations'' to each other we were given ribbons to put in our cases and after we changed back into our regular clothes, we went outside to be greeted with reporters and cameramans.

''Congratulations you two, how do you feel about getting a tie?'' A reporter put her microphone near Sarah.
''Well it was certainly surprising but I enjoyed batting my friend and hope to again in the next contest''
''Great response and your reaction moonlight magician'' Then put her microphone near me.

''I like my friend being my friend and to all the kids out there always remember it's not about winning it's how you race the track!'' I fake smile opening my mouth and thumbs up at the camea.
''But we weren't racing..'' 'Ggreat! Let's go home!'' I grab Sarah's hand and run away from the crowd before they start shooting questions at us.

''Hey guys!'' We turn to see Calem running towards us.

''You girls were awesome! And when you're Inferno evolved he looked so cool!'' He shouted as his eyes sparkled.
''Thanks, would you like our autograph?'' I said with sarcasm in my voice.

''Why would I need to? I see you guys all the time''

''You're not going to see that much anymore cause i'm going see ya'' I wave goodbye as I started walking away from the group.

''Diamond wait!''
''Why all of a sudden are you leaving?'' ''I want to go after the next gym it's been a year!'' ''You mean a day?''

''Whatever, I can't sit around all day I need to do things and that thing is to leave'' I said, ready to leave again but Sarah stops me by putting a hand on my shoulder making me a little impatient.

''Wait!'' ''What.'' ''Let me come with you?'' ''....Why?''

''Diamond I want to come because I want to get to know yo-''

''You mean because the professor told you so.'' Yeah I broke the wall again so what, you can't stop me!
''I watched your version of the last episode, I know what you talked about now'' ''Dia-''

''Nope, leaf me alone.. it's better that way anyway...'' I suddenly start to feel emo as I walk away from and to the next area for me to go...

'Why must I be Shadow the hedgehog in this story me?' Because I said so that's why. Good night everybody!
