Male Warlord! Reader x Female!Hero

My name is (Y/N) (L/N), I used to be the warlord of Dragnor but now i'm just a old man after I gave away the title to Nobuanga. Why did I gave away my throne you ask? ...It was all because of a aurora warlord.

It all started when I was still a young old fool, I was ruthless, cunning, deadly wherever I went and search I kill and conquer.

The only castle I didn't conquer was Aurora, both of us had conquer either the north and south of Ransei.
I decided to go after Aurora's leader rather her going after me to warn her. My pokemon Hydreigon flew through the sky with me riding in silence ,it was starting to get dark so I let Hydreigon glide down near a cave. 

''You shall rest here Hydreigon.''  It nods and heads inside the cave. But after few minutes I hear it growling and a Eevee shouting it's name. I ran inside to see Aurora's warlord and her pokemon.

''Hey it's ok, i'm not going to hurt you'' The warlord sighs putting her hand on my pokemon's head calming it down. 

''Why are touching my Hydreigon'' I glared at her making her flinch then gasp realizing who I am.

''Y-Your!'' ''Yes i'm the Dragnor king now answer my question before I beat it out of you''
''I-I was just calming Hydreigon down t-that's all no need to start a fight!'' The warlord nervously said holding her hands up. I sigh loudly and rub my forehead.

''Hmph. Why are you here?'' '

'I was just taking a walk with Eevee, right Eevee?'' ''Eevee!'' Her Eevee nods jumping on her master's shoulder.
''You should be running away from me now, I don't like having company..'' I sat down on the rough floor.

''Then just kill me now, besides I bet you came here to declare war right?'' I turn my head away from her knowing she's right.

''Ha! I knew it, you owe me pokemoney!'' She happily says pointing her finger at me, I swat it away.

''You shouldn't be glad, you know what I do to the people I conquer''

''At least let me know the warlord i'm fighting'' She pouts, putting her hands on her hips. ''Tch.'' ''What a immature brat.' I think rolling my eyes.

After I got some firewood and started a fire the two pokemon fell asleep leaving the both of us in silence.

'So..um.. what's your name?'' The warlord said breaking the awkward silence.

''Why do you need my name?'' ''Answer mine then I'll answer yours'' She leans in close to hear my answer

''...........(Y/N)''
''Great! I'm (WL/N), and the reason I want to know who you are is because I want to be friends!''  My eyes widen as (WL/N) giggles.

'Why would she want to be friends with someone like me?!'

''I've killed men, women, and children. People killed themselves with whatever they could find because I was there. And you want to be ''friends'' with me?''

''I know what you do, but I want to be friends with everyone no matter who they are'' (WL/N) said smiling softly.
''You'll regret those words'' ''I know I will'' I sigh and deal with her chatter box mouth.
(WL/N) tells me about herself like how she linked with Eevee, became friends with her warriors, and gaining other warlords trust and loyalty. As we talk about our lives I start to realize that I never had a conversation like this even when I was a child I only had talks about war and tactics.

''....I.. never had a friend before'' ''Isn't Hydreigon your friend?'' 

''No, it's only my tool like my soldiers and people they are only tools I use to conquer Ransei''

''Why are you like this? None of the warlords I faced never talk nor treat their people and pokemon like this'' She asked with a concerned look. I went silent looking at the ground before talking about my past.

 ''When I was born as the first prince of Dragnor I was told I was going to rule this world with a iron fist but before my father could teach me he was poisoned by my betraying mother. Thus whenever I'm in war with a another I fail my soldiers and get taken prisoner forever helpless till help arrives.'So now I treat others the way they treated me when I was younger''

''I-I'm so sorry I never realized'' ''It's fine you didn't know''  (WL/N) looked at me before smiling and putting her hand on mines shocking me.

''Well now you don't have to be afraid anymore, people have changed and I seen the way people and pokemon are now. If I win this war, I'll give everyone their kingdoms back including yours and make sure everyone is in peace, nobody will never cause war ever again it's a promise'' (WL/N) said with a serious tone then yawns feeling tired.

''How can you say that?'' ''I just did, now goodnight (Y/N)'' (WL/N) puts her head on my right shoulder. I was about to yell but then decided not to wake her up, I sigh pushed her bangs aside gently looking at her fall asleep.

''.......Good night (WL/N)'' I said for the first time smiling and grab her warm soft hand then finally went to sleep. The next morning I wake up first and see my pokemon up and ready to go. Not wanting anything to hurt (WL/N) before we fight I pick up Eevee and carry (WL/N) to someplace safe. After that we both got prepare for the most difficult battle yet.

In the battlefield of Aurora (WL/N) and her warriors stand on left while mines stand on the right we both look at each others eyes and ran at each other with our blades. The battle has begun.

Our armies were neck and neck, none were winning or losing. But when (WL/N) was shouting out commands her back was turned and Eevee wasn't given a command. Giving me the advantage.

''Hydreigon Dragon Pulse!'' I yelled my command, and Hydreigon growled shooting a huge beam of indigo energy at Eevee. Eevee braced itself but when (WL/N) turned around to see what was going on.
''EEVEE!!'' She pushed Eevee away and got hit by the beam directly making her scream in pain.

''YOU FOOL!!'' I yelled rushing to her then catching her as she fell down. She was covered in many, many burn marks I'm surprised she's still alive.

''E-Eevee... a-are y-you alright?'' She turns her head slightly to look at Eevee.

''Eevee! Eevee!'' Eevee nods rapidly while crying at the same time.

''T-That's goo-*COUGH*'' (WL/N) coughs loudly as blood comes out of her mouth.

''Oh h-hey (Y/N) l-long time n-no s-see *cough* *cough*''

''Fool! Why did you take the hit!?''
''Then Eevee would *cough!* d-die I didn't want my closest friend besides you to die..'' I grit my teeth trying to not cry then look around to see everyone even the pokemon staring at us.

'Darn! Why! Why am I feeling these emotions for this women!?' I shake my head no trying to get rid of these emotions in my stone cold heart. (WL/N) warriors walk towards their leader and not even mine warriors bother to fight but just stare at us.

''Thank you all for everything, please be.. nice to your new king... he won't bite hopefully..'' ''Lady (WL/N)..''
The warriors say her name softly, some prey while others cry and look at me with a heated glare.

''And (Y/N) be... nice to them.. please.. they are kind people.. and thank... you.. for being my friend......'' (WL/N) puts her cold hand on my cheek and strokes it, my cheek has her blood on it but I don't care. She closes her eyes and her hand falls down on the grass with a thud..

The warriors cry screaming their leader's name, fall to the ground screaming why and cursing me for what I done. Eevee sobs licking (WL/N) face trying to wake her up but it know it's useless even Hydreigon starts to cry look at the body of (WL/N). 

The clouds in the sky turn dark and it starts to rain then thunder. I'm speechless and now completely emotionless the only person who was a friend to me and who made me had a different expression about my choices is now dead, I can never talk to her ever again..

I get up and walk away silently crying.. leaving everyone in the thunderstorm of a battle..

Nobody has won expect death itself...

After that I disappeared, I had nothing and no one not even Hydreigon was beside me. I deserve it. I'm glad that i'm no longer a king because I get to kill myself in peace with no one panicking about it and me sadly joining the souls in hell while (WL/N) waves hello in heaven along with the people and pokemon I killed...
